Abbey Currie is a biology graduate interested in bioremediation and applying biotech to solve environmental issues! Leading the Chimera Biofuels Team, she's designing a floating bioremediation system to clean up the polluted Alberta tailings ponds and convert their toxic contaminants into biomass, soaking up carbon dioxide and making a green biodiesel feedstock in the process.
