Nicole Harbauer is a Trade Commissioner with Global Affairs Canada, where she supports Alberta-based energy sector and cleantech companies looking to seize international opportunities. Nicole develops programming to showcase the work of companies with capabilities in emissions reduction and carbon management to international buyers. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada (PTAC), and the Steering Committee for the Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN). Previously based in the United Arab Emirates, Nicole led the development of Canada’s commercial program at Expo 2020 Dubai. She was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Prior to joining the public sector, Nicole served as the Director of Operations at the Economic Club of Canada, Canada’s leading public affairs forum.
