Adam Bene Watts graduated from McGill University in 2016 with a BSc in Math and Physics. He completed a PhD in physics in 2021 at MIT under the supervision of Professor Aram Harrow. He then worked as a postdoc at the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo. He has also worked as a consultant for Xanadu and a physics instructor for MIT’s Interphase EDGE program.  Currently he is a Scientist-in-Residence at Quantum City within the University of Calgary.   Adam works mostly in the fields of Quantum Computing and Quantum Information Theory. Focuses of his work include nonlocal games (i.e. generalized Bell tests), shallow quantum circuits, and learning from quantum states.
