Christian is a Senior Energy Policy Advisor at the Danish Embassy in Ottawa. Christian focuses on developing partnerships between official stakeholders. Prior to his employment at the Royal Danish Embassy he worked for 5 years for the Danish electricity and gas TSO, Energinet, where part of his focus was consultancy on integration and development of renewable energy in Europe and Asia, and worked particularly close with public stakeholders in Poland, Ireland and Vietnam to help provide expertise on the Danish experiences with transitioning to green energy. Additionally, he has been the project manager for “Denmark’s Long Term Development Plan 2024 “for the Danish electricity and gas systems. He holds a degree in international relations. Fun fact: Christian favorite movie is Goodfellas and he’s an avid listener of classic rock.
