Maury Porter currently serves as the Vice President of Canadian Operations & Operations Services in Enbridge’s Liquids Pipelines (LP) business unit.

He is responsible for safe and reliable field operations, asset maintenance and emergency response capabilities for the Canadian portion of the Liquids Pipelines system.  In addition to Canadian Operations, he is also responsible for providing Operations Services support to both the Canadian and US LP Operations teams in the areas of Field Work Management, Damage Prevention, Emergency Management, and Operations Programs & Governance.

Maury has over two decades of engineering and leadership experience in the energy infrastructure sector.  He joined Enbridge in 2007 and has held various technical and leadership roles in Major Projects, Pipeline Control, and Engineering & Asset Management.  Prior to joining Enbridge, he worked in engineering consulting in the field of pipeline hydraulic modeling, where he designed various crude and water pipeline systems in North America and the Middle East.

Maury received his BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2004 and is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Alberta.  In addition, Maury also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Natural Resources, Energy and Environment from the University of Alberta.  In the community, Maury is currently a cabinet co-chair with the United Way of Alberta Capital Region, along with serving as a Vice President and founder of a non-profit organization focused on raising funds for investment in his local community.
