Assistant Deputy Minister of Strategy and Market Access Alberta Energy and Minerals Erin began her career as print and broadcast journalist, having worked for CBC TV, The Vancouver Sun and Global Edmonton. She joined the Government of Alberta in 2003, delivering public and media relations and crisis communications support to a number of departments before moving into a program area, followed by her Chief of Staff role at Energy. She is a born and raised Albertan, starting her post-secondary education at the University of Alberta with a BA in Psychology and French Language and Literature. She also holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Regina, a Masters of Arts in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching. Erin was named the ADM of Strategy and Market Access in November 2020.
