Matt Bryan, President for SLB Canada, is a proud husband and father of two young children. He loves spending time hiking outdoors with his family and is an avid basketball fan.
Matt grew up on a farm in southwest Kansas and now holds dual citizenship of Canada and the USA. Upon graduating from the University of Kansas in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Matt started his career with Schlumberger as a Wireline field engineer in Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Texas working on the rigs until moving to a Field Service Manager position in 2000.
Prior to assuming his current role in February 2020, Matt was based in St. John’s, Newfoundland where he held the position of Managing Director for Atlantic and Eastern Canada for five years. Matt also brings broad Business Operations experience from Colombia, Mexico, Malaysia, and Trinidad & Tobago where he served as the Managing Director for the Caribbean region.
