Heather has over 15 years of industry experience in Oil & Gas and Carbon Capture & Storage.  After graduating with a Master of Science degree in Geology from Western Michigan University, she spent 12 years at ExxonMobil as a geologic modeler, developing models for numerous global onshore and offshore projects.  In 2021, she transitioned into the CCS space at Battelle as a geologic modeler and Commercial CCS Subsurface Manager.  In 2024, Heather began her role as Subsurface Manager at Wood where she and her team work CO2 storage projects in conjunction with Wood’s Capture and Transport teams to provide full-chain CCS solutions.  Heather’s technical specializations include subsurface characterization/data integration, geologic modeling, dual-porosity/dual-permeability modeling, and subsurface evaluation for sequestration systems.
