Nima Ghazi is an experienced engineering executive who has led the technical and commercial development of major infrastructure projects and energy programs for the past 15 years in North America, with a total projects value of well exceeding 25 billion US Dollars. He has led small and large highly skilled engineering teams, up to 250 technical and commercial personnel.

As an award-winning engineering executive with a proven track record in both conventional (onshore & offshore) and renewable energy projects development, he is a published technical author, sought after speaker, and board member at various prestigious global energy conferences.

Nima has co-authored, revised, and over-seen the development of dozens of engineering & commercial specifications of some of North America's leading energy and pipeline companies.

His published dissertation on techno-economic modelling of Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS/CCUS) Systems and CO2 Pipelines has received international recognition. Nima has served as a specialist contributing member of a number of the American Petroleum Institute (API) and Canadian Standard Associations (CSA) committees and Task Groups concerning CCS and Hydrogen systems. He is a graduate of the Renewable Energy Institute (UK), certified as a Hydrogen Energy Consultant Expert, and is formally trained and certified in renewable energy finance & management, renewable energy storage systems, and clean hydrogen production.

Nima holds a Master of Science in Oil & Gas Pipeline Engineering (Graduated with Distinction) from Newcastle University (UK), an MBA (Hon.) in Strategic Marketing from the University of Calgary, and a Bachelor of Engineering from the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto.
