Marie Sereneo

Marie Sereneo is a Carbon Strategy Advisor at ARC Resources, a Canadian energy producer, where she is advancing ARC's carbon markets program as part of the organization's broader climate change strategy. Marie brings a diversity of cross-cutting sustainability experiences across public, private, and consulting roles, including the Government of Alberta, Deloitte, and various clients across the energy and financial sectors.

Beyond her professional roles, Marie is passionate about bringing young and under-represented voices to high-level climate conversations. She is currently a Board Member and Adopter Sector Chair with the Clean Resources Innovation Network (CRIN), and is a proud alumnus of the Energy Futures Lab, Young Diplomats of Canada, and Global Shapers Calgary. Marie holds an MPH with a specialization in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Alberta and a BScH in Environmental Science from Queen's University.
