Alexandria has 12 years of multifaceted experience in the energy sector. She thinks about the power of language – technical jargon, political discourse, and everyday conversation – and how it resonates at a human level.

Her early career in geophysics involved engaging with cross-functional teams and building a strategic planning skillset. In 2020, she established 114 Degrees West, a consulting firm that drives change within institutions and prioritizes clients who share this vision. 114 Degrees West works with heavy industry, clean-tech start-ups, and Indigenous organizations in the energy sector.

Notably, her firm has supported the high-growth clean-tech start-up Entropy, contributed to various initiatives supporting equity participation within First Nation communities, and served as an advisor to the Clean Electricity Regulations.

Her hobbies include engaging in the Canadian start-up community as an angel investor, trail running, and enjoying electronic music.
