Immersed in economic, social, and political trends for 30 years, Nanos delivers custom keynote experiences that are compelling, interactive, and thought-provoking.
Nanos founded The Nanos Research Group of Companies in 1987. He also leads the team behind the weekly Bloomberg Nanos Canadian Confidence Index, a must-have resource for senior executives, and is featured in a weekly segment on CTV’s News Channel, Nanos on the Numbers, which explores the latest political, business, and social trends. Nanos’ analysis has also been featured in most major news organizations, including Bloomberg News, the Globe and Mail, CTV News, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, the BBC, and The Guardian.
In recognition of his work in the research industry, Nanos was appointed a member of the Order of Canada in 2023. He is also a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC; Fellow at the Canadian Research and Insights Council and the Royal Canadian Geographic Society; chair of Atlantik Brücke Canada; past chair of Carleton University; and an honorary captain in the Royal Canadian Navy.
