Dr. Samaneh (Sam) Ashoori
Dr. Samaneh (Sam) Ashoori is experienced in methane emissions reduction and clean technologies. With a Ph.D. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary and over 15 years of experience in both industry and academia, Sam specializes in advanced emission monitoring and methane solution technologies. At the NGIF Accelerator’s Emissions Testing Centre, she leads the evaluation and validation of emerging technologies for mitigating methane emissions in the gas industry.
Her work encompasses technology assessment and the implementation of innovative methane management strategies. A certified Product Manager, Sam combines technical expertise with entrepreneurial acumen to drive technology adoption and operational improvements. Her accomplishments are well-recognized, and she has earned various awards, including the esteemed Women's Resource Centre Distinguished Award for Wisdom, Resilience, and Compassion.
