The Canadian Council for the Americas Alberta, with the support of the Global Energy Show Canada and our government partners, Global Affairs Canada, and the Government of Alberta, is hosting its keynote annual event, CCA Breakfast of the Americas, with the theme “Responsible Energy Production in the Americas” on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Junior Ball Room of the new BMO Centre at Stampede Park, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The CCA Breakfast off the Americas will start at 7:30 am until 9:45 am.
The CCA Breakfast of the Americas will be an opportunity to discuss different aspects that NOCs, Operators, the private sector, and government bodies are facing towards responsible energy production that includes traditional sources such as oil and gas and new sources of energy such as hydrogen. The CCA Breakfast is being designed to provide different perspectives from keynote speakers from the Americas, creating a space for Canadian and Latin American companies to discuss challenges and opportunities that the region is facing in this transformation period the energy sector worldwide is facing to supply energy in the most efficient and responsible way.

Theme: Evolving Responsible Business Considerations for Canadian Industry active in Latin America
Overview: This panel will look at governance, ESG and Indigenous rightsholder considerations for Canadian companies operating in Latin America, as well as provide awareness on export sanctions. It will explore current challenges and best-in-class practices, and include practical insights from those directly supporting Canadian companies in the region and from senior industry representatives.
